A.B. Patel & Patel have been in continuous existence since 13th January 1922, having been started by Late Mr. Ambalal Patel, a Barrister from India and his son Late Mr. Chimanlal Patel. Late A.B. Patel was elected to the legislature in Kenya being the first non- white person to have been elected in colonial Kenya.
Late C.K. Kanji had started practice under the guidance of the founding partners of the firm and had been in active practice for over 55 years providing an unbroken continuity from the founding member to the current members of the firm. Mr. Kanji’s experience, combined well with the innovative ideas brought in by the new members.  This provides the synergy of the firm, its outstanding reputation and confidence amongst its wide client base.
